Nuclear Power at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard

This book provides an extensive and extremely detailed history of the Nuclear Engineering Department at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard from inception through its defining events and developments. The author John Lansberry was one of first individuals selected to setup the nuclear program work at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1961. Lansberry trained at Mare Island until reporting to Puget in February 1962.

Bill Wegner (NRHQ 1956 - 1979 and NR Deputy Director 1964 - 1979) wrote most of the first chapter. Lansberry credits Wegner with setting the tone and style for the rest of the book.
