2023 - Seven Rules Consulting Principles

Seven Rules Consulting was founded by two retired Naval Reactor's senior executives in 2023 who had a combined time as senior executives at Naval Reactors of nearly 40 years. After leaving, they based their consulting company on principles drawn from Rickover, Naval Reactor's, and their own personal experiences.

The seven rules are each really a collection of supporting principles.

The Seven Rules

Rule 1 - People, not organizations or management systems, get things done

Rule 2 - Know the ONE individual responsible and hold them accountable

Rule 3 - Know what is going on and make sure it is aligned with your expectations

Rule 4 - Everyone must strive to become an expert in their area

Rule 5 - Make brisk clean-cut decisions

Rule 6 - Embrace technology and, when it makes sense, be aggressive in its use

Rule 7 - Never forget - The real job is getting results
