1998 - NSWC CVX Video

This is a 1998 CVX (would later become CVNX and eventually CVN-78 Class) concept video intended to get people excited and engaged in about a new class of aircraft carriers. The construction contract for CVN 78 officially started in August 2005 with ceremonial steel cut and in earnest in 2007. Keel laying in November 2009, launching October 2013, and commissioning in July 2017.
