This GAO letter to Admiral McKee summarizes audit/assessment results of NNPP component procurement via PAD and MAO.


The GAO identified that lower pricing could be obtained than what was occurring by more carefully scrutinizing supply capacity projections and not paying unnecessary pricing premiums for suppliers that identify that they are at minimum viable quantities.
