This is a redacted CIA reported released under a FOIA request by the CIA in 2010 (and updated in 2015).


Project Azorian was an effort between 1970-1974 to recover the sunken soviet submarine K-129 from the Pacific floor using the ship Hughes Glomar Explorer. Only part of the submarine was recovered.
