In July 1970, NR moved in to NC-2 in Crystal City. The building had numerous issues so in early 1971, NR Engineer David Bryant (NRHQ 1966 - 1971) wrote to his congressman (James A Burke) about conditions who requested the Comptroller General to investigate.

This letter B-172611 was the response to the congressman.
