1975 - Rickover's Acceptance of ASTM Kroll Zirconium Medal

On March 21, 1975, Rickover was awarded the William J. Kroll Zirconium Medal by ASTM. The speech describes the history of zirconium development. Rickover also provided a paper on the occasion of receiving the medal providing a detailed history including this speech and a paper by Lawton. D. Geiger (Manager of Pittsburgh Naval Reactors Office from 1948-1973). The paper is available here
